Piper to the Lord Provost of Edinburgh

​After establishing her business as a Professional Bagpiper for hire in 2004, Louise has performed at many events around the world.  In 2006, Louise was asked by the then Lord Provost of Edinburgh at the time, Councillor Lesley Hinds, if she could lead food producers from Malawi down Edinburgh's Royal Mile from the City Chambers to the Scottish Parliament carrying the Fairtrade Flag on the Scottish leg of its Global Journey - which, of course, Louise was honoured to accept.  Louise has been both the 'Piper to the Lord Provost of Edinburgh', representing the City of Edinburgh globally, as well as the World Fair Trade Piper promoting fair trade and ethical working conditions worldwide since 2006!
